JSP Strength & Conditioning Programme

Our Strength & Conditioning Programme has been designed to help young athletes develop the physical foundations needed to succeed across all sports.

Every session is age-appropriate, carefully planned and delivered in small groups, ensuring every child receives individual coaching and support tailored to their stage of development.

The programme combines the expertise of both JSP Academy founders. Steve brings over 400 senior appearances in non-league football up to Step 4 of the English football pyramid, while John brings more than 13 years of coaching, leadership and player development experience, from grassroots football through to semi-professional environments.

To ensure every session reflects current best practice, the programme has also been developed alongside fully qualified Personal Trainers and Strength & Conditioning professionals.

Every athlete’s progress is monitored through regular performance assessments, with parents receiving ongoing feedback and development updates throughout the programme.

Our goal is simple: to help children become stronger, faster, more confident athletes while developing the movement skills, physical qualities and confidence that benefit them both in sport and everyday life.
